A typical Windows XP installation contains a music theme that’s hidden away in a folder........
C:\WINDOWS\system32\oobe\images.
Enter this location in the address bar on Windows Explorer as it’s a
hidden folder. The track is called title.wma. Double click on it to run it and enjoy the Windows Welcome music.

OK all you have to do is just create a note pad file and copy paste this

Name it as desktop.ini

Now when u have created this file del this laxman.jpg as it is set for my PC now go to C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper now paste your favorite wallpaper in the link and just copy it name and instead of laxman.jpg which i have for my PC paste your fav wallpaper name

save it and now when u open your Local drive u can see your fav wallpapers!!!!!!!!

Run VLC media player,go to
Settings->preferences->Interface->Main interfaces,
then click on wxWidgets.
Remove the tick on "Taskbar"
and put a tick on "Systray icon"

# Go to Video->Output Modules->DirectX.
On the bottom right put a tick on advanced options check box.
You will now see some options.Put a tick on "Enable Wallpaper Mode ". Now select any play list and do check on replay play list, so that videos keep running..!!!

# Now save the settings by clicking save button and then restart the vlc!

I found this trick while messing up with group policy editor .

That ...Microsoft reserves 20% of your available bandwidth for their own purposes like Windows Updates and interrogating your PC etc. same issue is with all Microsoft OS by default.

You can get it back:
Click Start then Run and type "gpedit.msc" without quotes.
This opens the group policy editor.
Then go to:Local Computer Policy then Computer Configuration then
Administrative Templates
then Network then QOS Packet Scheduler
and then to Limit Reservable Bandwidth.
Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidth.
It will say it is not configured, but the truth is under the 'Explain' tab i.e."By default, the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default.
"So the trick is to ENABLE reservable bandwidth, then set it to ZERO. This will allow the system to reserve nothing, rather than the default 20%.
It works on Win 2000 as well.How did you like it.please comment.

Note:This trick works only for windows xp sp2 professional and windows 2000 professional.It does not work on windows xp sp2 home edition As there is no way to edit group policy editor .....

Start Regedit.
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control.
Click on the "Control" Folder.
Select "WaitToKillServiceTimeout"
Right click on it and select Modify.
Set it a value lower than 2000 (Mine is set to 200)

Start "run"
then write "compmgmt.msc"
then go to "local users and group"
then go to"users"
see at the right side there showing a 1 admin account
right click on it and click on set password then procceed
and enjoy . . . . .

Make sure that you have admin rights for this.

1. Go to start > Run > Type regedit > Press Enter
2. Click on the plus sign near the folder HKEY_CURRENT_USER
3. Click on the plus sign near the folder Software
4. Click on the plus sign near the folder Yahoo
5. Click on the plus sign near the folder Pager
6. Right Click on the folder name Test > New > DWORD Value
7. Right side you will get a file named New Value #1
8. Right Click on the file New Value #1 and Rename it as Plural and press enter
9. Double Click on the file Plural
10. You will get a windown named Edit DWORD Value
11. Type 1 inside 'Select the Value data' and press enter
12. Close the registery editor window
13. Now you can launch multiple windows and use different ID's.

1. Right-click GTalk shortcut and select Properties.
2. The shortcut properties dialog box as shown below should popup.
3. Just add /nomutex to the existing text
Eg: "C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe" /nomutex
4. Now you can launch multiple windows and use different ID's.

Sometimes we want to insert current data and time, whenever we open the file in the notepad. If you are a lazy person like me, who don’t like to press F5 whenever you open a notepad. Then here is a trick to avoid this. Just add a .LOG in the first line of your text file and close it.
Whenever you open the file with that text in the first line in the notepad, it will insert the current date and time at the end of the file. You can start entering your text after that.

1)Right Click on the desktop.Make a new folder
2)Now rename the folder with a space(U have to hold ALT key and type 0160).
3)Now u have a folder with out a name.
4)Right click on the folder>properties>customize. Click on change icon.
5)Scroll a bit, u should find some empty spaces, Click on any one of them.click ok

Thats it, now u can store ur personal data without any 3rd party tools.

Here is the trick that will help you to work your start menu 100% more faster,i hope many of them may know this trick before,but this is for the unknown people
step1 : press windows key+ r
step2: type regedit on the run box
step3: select HKEY_CURRENT_USER
step4: below this select the Control panel
step5: Choose Desktop
step 6: in the right window you can able to see this MenuShowDelay click this and change the 400 value to 0 thats it
step 7: Restart your computer

1. Install the File explorer Software ough data Cable or Bluetooth in Phone memory
2. Then Insert The Blocked MMC
3. Open the File Explorer Software
4. goto C:\ i.e Phone Memory
5. goto System
6. Goto Find and Search MMcstore
7 Send this file by Bluetooth or Infrared to your PC
8 Rename the file MMCSTORE to MMCSTORE.TXT
9 Open the file and the password of the MMC are there.

1. Goto start > Run > cmd
2. Type cmd press enter.
3. Type net user press enter
4. typer net user (username) *press enter
5. Type the password press enter.
6. Retype the password press enter.

Rename any folder with extension {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}
eg,
if u've a folder games
press F2,
then type, "games.{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}"
c the magic....
then 2 get to original form,
remove the extension using
"ren games.{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} games" in dos or as a bat file

Many ppl. don't know dat windows XP have a hidden "Star Wars Movie" inside it….
What u have 2 just follow these steps:
1. connecte ur PC to the INTERNET for using this.
2 .Go to Starts..click “starts” button
3.Click on “Run” button.
4.TYPE [telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl] ( COPY & PASTE IT)
And hit enter / ok......... Now it opens…enjoy…
